Wild and Free
Acrylic on stretched canvas
59x42 cm
Inspired by a Friesan horse, which is a very strong, powerful yet gracious breed of horses, in the Netherlands.
This is painted in layers bringing the first layers of chaos into shape. I wanted to achieve a sense of movement and moving forward. A picture of being released and feeling freedom.
This was recently put forward to the second round in SAA judged competion
