Free to fly
Reach for the sky
New collection.
The Freedom series contain ten paintings that have grown out my thoughts on what perfect freedom means on a spiritual and emotional level. Birds flying freely by water seem to be the perfect picture/subject to express this with my art. Both the colour blue and birds are strong symbols of freedom
Most of them are available as greetings cards and if you would like a print I can organise that in larger sizes. The originals are also available. They are oil paintings on deep edged canvas, 40x40cm. Use the contact form for any enquiries.
The 3 below are called Feel the air, Spread your wings and Soaring high

There are prints on aluminium available of the paintings
Emerging Path and Light Shining Through II and more recently Autumn Contemplation.
The colour white is not printed but is left as bare aluminium which means that light reflects in this part and it looks like the sun really is shining in the pictures. This is difficult to show on a picture, but I would be happy to show you in my studio.
Contact me and let me know you are coming a day or so before.
The day I received my first print was exciting and there is a video available on instagram. The below is also a link to instagram after the arrival of both prints.
Both of these paintings have a story of finding comfort, calm and serenity in the forest and through the forest that life is. It wants to communicate a strong focus of light being present. The original was painted in several layers, the first being a scribbly mess of colours. As well as giving texture the idea is that you can create something positive on top of chaos. .
Aluminium prints makes the image durable and protected.
It shows texture and depth and is very true to the original acrylic painting
The white is not printed so the light shines in a eye catching metallic silver.
It comes with a hanging system, but can also be framed if preferred
